The Blue Cow Cafe.

Now this is one cafe you will definitely HAVE TO visit! Yes. I am dead serious. Not because you can find alot of rare blue cows there, it's because you will get mouthwatering food! ;)

The food's awesome that I tagged along with my mother to see her long lost friends on a Thursday night. The Blue Cow Cafe was our meet up place. This cafe was formally known as Fogal, which I personally think it sounds so much better than The Blue Cow Cafe. No pun intended.

So come let's have a look at the menu.

While waiting for my mother's friends to arrive, a look at how half the place looks.

Now you better brace yourself for what is coming up next.

My glass of Lemon & Lime juice.
Less ice.
Tasted like how a normal lemon and lime juice would taste.

My mother's Tomato soup.
It's a MUST TRY!

My Salmon Steak.
Tasted awesome insane.

Beef Steak, well done.
The plate's licked clean.

Bacon salad.
The plate's clean too.

Pork Sausages.
Awesomely good too!
(dammit I am getting hungry at this point)

A basket of the town's best potato wedges.

You can have a look at how the cooking is done.

Oh yes. There's construction works going on from the view of the cafe.

Another phrase of Plaza Damas.

Plus construction works going on beside it on an Istana.
Awesome.
Just look at the vastly HUGE piece of land.

The Blue Cow Cafe.
(formally known as Fogal)

It is a MUST to visit this place not once, but forever, if you know how to enjoy western meals that taste awesomely insane. :)

At Sri Hartamas, Plaza Damas.

What's up being spooky this year?

eheheh.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN PEOPLE!! :D

It's a vampire year.

So more vampires,

sexy vampires,

and Twilight. ;)

Maybe Baby.

I did not know what I read in books are real. I always thought that the author has a very creative mind to write such interesting books. Before Twilight turns up in my life, that was what I thought. Boy, how I was wrong! Even Stephanie Meyer did her research on the locations of Forks. And now to prove me even more in fault, I just finished a book titled 'Maybe Baby' by Lani Diane Rich. Have you heard of the word 'Kakapo' before? Big. Flightless. New Zealand.

I always used to think that authors tend to come up with different, unique names for the story they are writing, little did I know that writing a book takes a lot of research. Ah yes. I AM wrong! Not like I'm trying to write a book. I can never succeed anyway. So, I actually found a very interesting fact from this book I have read!

Kakapo is actually a real parrot, in real peril. Native to Newzealand, this unique and fascinating bird now has a worldwide population of only 86. - from Maybe Baby (Lani Diane Rich) 2005.
Kakapo, also called owl parrot, is a species of flightless nocturnal parrot endemic to New Zealand. - from Wikipedia

First, the book is interesting. I love books that have a thrill to it while you are reading. Second, I learnt about Kakapo. :) See. A good thing to read. I love reading, and I never put a book down once I started, besides short trips to relieve myself. ;)

You people can really search the word Kakapo up. But I'll make your life easier by giving you the link here. I did my research. (click HERE). You can find everything you need about the flightless bird, Kakapo, that's close to extinction. Or of course, just bring your cursor to every single word of Kakapo mentioned in this post, click on the word and it will bring you to the same site I did my research on. Wikipedia has not yet to fail me.

Besides that, if you want to know how to save a Kakapo, or learn more about them, click HERE.

That's all I can say here. I hope this helps to enlighten you up ass it does enlighten me about this species of bird. I don't know about the smell of the bird though but as described in the story book, I assumed it to be true as well, which says that the bird has a pleasant and powerful odour, which has been described as musty. x) I can't imagine.

124 left.

Save them.

Mamee beats a fly.

I can't resist junk food this few weeks. This few days. I recently ate a packet of Mamee Monster which reminds me of the Maggie Mee. Ah whatever. I am cutting my crap short now and just enjoy my random pictures of the Mamee Monster. It came with a little gift too!

It says : WARNING! Not for kids 3 years old and below.

Well, I am past that age already. Right?

Right.

This is a horrifying experience for me as it was the first time a met with a situation like this. don't like to waste food but I have no choice. You wouldn't want to touch it either if you knew.

Time? 1PM
Where? School canteen
Day? Thursday
What food? Cantonese Fried Kuey Teow

Looks good right?

This is my second time eating this dish. Apparently the first time I was so hungry I just started eating straightaway and forgotten to take a picture until I was almost finishing it. Well, little did I know I was in for a shock.

Horror.

It's a FLY!
A BIG BLACK FLY!!

I was like, what is that black thingy among my noodles? Picked it up and I went s***. Damn. The fly did not drop right in. I think it was fried together with my noodles. Darn. I end up pretty hungry during dinner time. I was pretty upset but I did not complain. Lost my appetite that moment and I did not want to eat anything else. Grrr.

I better be careful of what I order in the canteen from now on.
Yiks. :S

What a random day.

With random feelings of course. A random day ain't complete with a random mixture of feelings. One moment I was feeling EMO and wanted to be alone as I felt that no one could understand me. The next moment, I was up and chit chatting my way through my bunch of friends. And right before your eyes, I turn quiet again, just listening to the sound of noise made by my friends. Randomizing my feelings today I guess. ;)

My second week of class. 5 more weeks left before I face exams again. Now the feeling of tired-ness is drowning me. I am hungry at the same time too! :D And of course, my post wouldn't be complete without some food in it.

Well, actually, I would not be satisfied if I do not include some food in. So here is a look at what I had for lunch today.

Nasi Lemak.
Minus the sambal.
(Next time I'll take a picture wit the sambal.)
It's good enough to fill my stomach.

For once I am actually typing so much words to a post, if you noticed my previous posts all consist of pictures, and more pictures only, with a few words to string them together. I haven't really got the blogging feel to really blog, and furthermore I am still in a dilemma on what should I blog about. If you really want to know a more personal side of my thoughts, you can always visit newly created blog call Thoughts. (Darn I am promoting here)

Anyway, I need to eat already. I can smell my dinner from my room. The smell just fills my nostrils. Ending this post with a cute picture. Take care everyone! I will be back! :D

WooHoo ^^

German food?

This time, my friends and I went to Kepong to have lunch after class. Kepong where? I do not know the place myself but I think that place we went is called Kepong Industrial Park. That's what my friend, Alan said. He's from Kepong after all. :D

So we went to this place called German Cuisine & Bistro to have our lunch.

The menu cover.

Yes.
Our enjoyment is their happiness.

They have this little bench and table outside their Bistro.
Pretty cool. :)

Let's take a look at their interior.

Good?
Not really classy.
They have clocks showing the time of different countries though.

A random shot.

Now are you ready for the food? The service isn't so bad. The food came quite fast! Really! About 5 minutes later after we ordered, the drinks came, then the food arrived. Everyone had the same drink, mainly because they ordered the lunch set, which also includes a bowl of soup and salad.

Ice Lemon Tea.
It ain't too sweet, aint too sour.

For starters, there's potato soup.

Then salad. Looks ok.

First up, this is steak.
Is it? I don't remember. Not my order.

Next, beef.
Beef what?
I also don't know. Looks good though. :)

Now my turn! Grilled Chicken!
I requested for a change in the sauce from Black Pepper to this brown sauce.
Tasted alright.

Lastly, Dory fish!
I wanted to have that at first but because it's dory fish, I had second thoughts.

So mine is the only one that's not the lunch set, therefore I do not have soup and salad to eat. We all are pretty satisfied with our meal. So this place is recommended to be visited again! Of course we have to try their pork knuckles one day.

I wonder what does that STADT stands for?

Finally I got to have my all time favourite sushi going in to my stomach during dinner! :D

Chocolates are heaven.

Chocolates are said to be good. Helps you de-stress, helps you concentrate, it's said to be good for health too! I think, if I am not mistaken. Especially DARK CHOC. Ooo yummy, at the mention of it. ;)

I recently bought some chocolates, which are TimTam and Cloud 9. You will see the pictures later, plus I got a bottle of chocolates from my uncle who came down from the United Kingdom.

This post is supposed to be out yesterday but I wasn't home the entire day. Came home at about 11PM. So now I am here, eyes tired, they are closing on me. I need CHOCOLATES.

Tasted so good, I finished the whole packet that day.

Here's the bottle of chocolates my uncle gave.

Now you can wipe your saliva off. ;)
