The good and bad.

I can't help it but to just realised that I have not really written anything decent about myself, my opinions or my life. So I decided to make my brain think on all the things that I have done as well as all the things that has happened within this year. I mean, this has been a good year for me. (I honestly have vague memories of high school, except for those activities moments which I miss dearly.)

Okays. Minus my high school out. That was like... 3 years ago? It's been quite some time since I left high school. I can say that I changed alot since then. Especially during the transition from Standard 6 to Form 1. That was a drastic change. A total tomboy I was back then, but a quiet one. Then Form 1 comes calling, I turned into a monstrous bitch. Oh wait. Why am I talking about my high school years? I guess it's because my high school years have some thing to do with how and who I am right now.

University life!

Easier said than done. It brings back so many memories. In the beginning of the year, I was so unsure of what I was going to study. So many doubts, but not in life. I went in, and finally got used to Uni life.

I settled down, got to know a few friends which turns out to be the greatest friends of all times. First semester was just the beginning of Uni life.

Where all the hard work pours in for studies. Where we had fun in Building Material class.

Then I had myself joined the orientation committee for the upcoming May Intake 2009. I met more new friends, learn a few things from seniors, be more independent and of course, have fun at the same time.

It was a wonderful experience which also at the same time, widen up my social circle.

Second semester was a blast. Classes were as usual in full swing but I was slacking. Everyone was about the same. All the laziness starts to come back. We were all being really relax which ended in a slightly bad results for everyone. In this semester, I have also got to known a few juniors, namely those that came in during the May Intake, as well as pulling me closer to my friends, one by one.

We even had more outings.

Trips to the Hot Spring was one to remember.

As well as our Site Surveying Practicals which puts us under the hot hot sun!

Honestly, I can't even remember what sad times or bad times I had already. All because I know that I am happy being with my Uni friends. So happy that I missed them dearly during a 3-week semester break. I remember waiting impatiently for the third semester to start because I was dying to see them all!

Third semester was a short one, an AWESOME semester which passes real darn fast! Our friend Martin Lai has already seem like a part of our group - the January Intake group. He practically mixed with us somewhere in the middle of the second semester and got closer until he hangs out with us every lunch time as well as during our outings! Another member to our BIG family! :D

Only 2 subjects to juggle, we were quite free which leaves us wandering around looking for stuff to fill up that empty space. Which got us started on sports all thanks to Martin Lai. :) Which also got us all hanging out more. (Which got me into some trouble with myself. x)) Yet I am the happiest now to have friends like them to be hanging out with. :)

All in all, 2009 has been a good year for me. It's the beginning of my Uni life. It's the beginning where for once, I am having fun and feeling happy, without a care about the other side of my world.

In one year,

I learnt to enjoy life more, to the fullest.

I learnt to be more open-minded, more giving.

I know I have changed in different ways.

My family issues has yet to be dissolved.

I learn to love everyone better.

I've made new friends that I know will stick together through thick and thin.

I grew more mature in a certain way only I can tell

I even grew more noisier and loud, thanks for being outgoing.

Despite the tears I shed, the number of times I fell, I am still growing strong.

I have found a part of me and still trying to find out the rest of who I really am.

I am always thriving to be better than who I was yesterday.

I learn to LOVE myself more.

I can tell that some people will tend to hate me for me being such a bitch during high school, but when you grow up you learn to stop caring about all that - May-Zhee Lim. You just stop caring about what people say about you and be yourself.

Now it's time to make New Year's Resolution, but I never stick to my New Year's resolution. Never for once, did I fulfil it. Maybe I should give it a try just one more time. Anybody with me?

I read a post about Things by May-Zhee Lim. (Click HERE to view)
that inspired me to write this long-winded post of mine.

Happy New Year people!
I HEART you all out there!

A very HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! :D May the new year bring you loads of joy, happiness as well as laughter!

A year has pass, and a new year arrives. Be happy, let the unhappy memories stay in the past. For what has pass is in the past, there's a reason why they don't make it to your future. ;) It's time for new wishes and new memories.

Now a short note here from me to you, that I won't be around to blog much and whatever upcoming post you read is a scheduled post. I will be back around the 3rd of January or later.

Take care and make sure you stick to your new year's resolutions too! :)

The END of 2009.

To end this year - 2009

A good year overall.

2009 has been a good year for me. A really good year. First of all, it's my first year in Uni. I thought it would be tough but everything turns out well. Even though I am not studying what I want, I have had a good year round. My newly made friends has became my family. Those fun times with you all, I hope it will never end. This year has just flown pass amazingly fast. Faster then I have ever imagine and I wish it does not have to end, as some of us are in the risk of being separated.

Separated? You ask. How? Some of us have to re-take some subjects we failed during our first and second semester. Some are going to take other subject, which will all result in difference in timetables. Sometimes you just wish time would just stop there. That moment. Where happiness is engraved in your face. That moment where only laughter sounds can be heard. I know I have found my happiness with you all, my Uni friends.

Here's a compilation of some of the pictures I have. Sorry for the bad editing. I am not good in using both adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

The birthday celebrations we had within the year.

Even went to the Hot Spring! Super HOT!

Presentation Day during the third semester.

Outings from the second semester onwards.

We got to experience studio shootings.
(Sorry for the double picture!)

Our hard times during Site Surveying Practical under the scorching hot sun!

Shogun!
Boy were we full at the end of the day!

We even play sports all thanks to Martin!

Our daily Uni life.

Of course, all my Uni mates.
If you don't see your name inside there, means I do not have a picture of you to put in!

Nevertheless, I love you all to bits! :D
♥♥♥

There's no words that can really describe how I feel about you all. Every single one of you played a part in my life, since the day we met. Or should I say since the day we started the first day of our first semester?

I can name each and everyone of you here, and tell you how much you mean to me, but I am so not going to make this post longer than it is. Click HERE to see it. :)

2009 is coming to an END and the arrival of 2010. Let's hope the world will not come to an END yet. Welcome year 2010! Hope it's going to be a fun filled year again for me and all of you people out there!

Now I can't wait to see you all again! :D

A day out at KL.

A day out in KL proves to be satisfying. :) It's been quite awhile since I have step foot in KL malls. It feels like ages. Took a trip to Berjaya Times Square partly because Mun Hon needed to send his laptop to the hospital and because I want to go out. Hehe ^^

So first stop was to eat the tasty pork noodles located somewhere off Jalan Tun Sambatan but unfortunately the stall was not open so we both ended up eating Fish Ball Noodles and Curry Noodles.

It's not the best in town but it does fills your stomach. A good thing is that they have 3 sizes for you to choose instead of just small and large.

The trip to Times Square was a pleasant one, with the Monorail full of people, at least it's unlike the Kelana Jaya Line LRT which is sardined-packed everyday.

At least their Christmas Decoration is not down yet.

After sending his laptop to the hospital located on the 9th floor, we took a walk around Times Square, which I have not noticed before, was a shopping paradise for most girls. Really. Seriously. I can shop and shop for hours buying things I liked, providing IF I have the money. :(

Rest awhile at Starbucks to grab a drink and then off we went again. Before leaving, we went into Krispy Kreme to grab some doughnuts! Can't resist those yummy looking doughnuts any longer, and had to try them out to rid my curiosity on why are they so famous.

Red Snowman

Dark Chocolate

Definitely the BEST around!

I finally figure out why Kripsy Kreme are so famous. They tasted like heaven. Every bite you take is like heaven. I have a sweet tooth yet I don't taste the sweetness in their doughnuts. The bun is soft and smooth. It's made to perfection.

Now I'm hungry. sometimes I think I should stop blogging about food as every single time I do so, I get hungry by just talking about it! Doughnuts. I want doughnuts!

A very Original Wood.

A trip to mamak is never wasted because of the food you can get. :) After shopping around for that few hours, we, Mun Hon & I took a trip to the famous Original Kayu located at Aman Suria for the Roti Tissue there. 3 plates long, and yummy too! :)

Since 1974!
Imagine the history behind it! ;)

An outlet at Klang.
Looks similiar to the one at Aman Suria.

There you go.
The Roti Tissue.
Should take a picture next time before the mamak people lie it down on the plates. :)
Time to dig in now.

I even had one piece of Roti Empat Segi.
Is that what it's called?

Found a rather funny phrase on the bill.

If the food is good, please tell your friends.
If the food is not good please tell us.

So now I'm telling you all out there, if you have not visit Original Kayu mamak, you have to do so. :)

Princess and The Frog.

Ribbit. Ribbit.

I know friends who has phobias against frogs. They are such cute, slimey creatures, besides those poisonous ones you can find in the jungle. Watched this movie today, this afternoon with 2 friends, namely Mun Hon & Mun Wei. Before I go on, no, they are not brothers. :)

Walt Disney movies are always my favourite because I grew up with them. Everyone does. from the classic Cinderella story to Snow White, Sleeping Beauty as well as Beauty and The Beast, we all are definitely very familiar with all these fairy tales. Now here comes another one we all have been waiting for so long.

A modern day retelling of the classic story The Frog Prince. The Princess and the Frog finds the lives of arrogant, carefree Prince Naveen and hardworking waitress Tiana crossing paths. Prince Naveen is transformed into a frog by a conniving voodoo magician and Tiana, following suit, upon kissing the amphibian royalty. With the help of a trumpet-playing alligator, a Cajun firefly, and an old blind lady who lives in a boat in a tree, Naveen and Tiana must race to break the spell and fulfill their dreams. Written by The Massie Twins

wishing on the brightest star.

I like that Disney's stories are always such a fun to watch. This is actually the first African-American Princess in Disney! Of course there's always a happy ever after ending for every Walt Disney Princess story, where they meet their prince charming. Yet this one took a twist from the classical Princess and The Frog where the girl is not a princess. I like the alligator in the movie. He is so funny. :D Despite me being tired and sleepy, I still enjoyed the movie.

I wish upon a star, please, please, please, please...!

FIFA World Cup!

I cannot believe it. 2010 is approaching. Not slow but fast! So fast that the FIFA World Cup is just around the corner! Love the season. I still remember the last world cup. :D Such fun betting with friends (ssshhhhhhh!), as well as staying up late to watch Italy win! :D

Looking forward to World Cup again. :D Last World Cup was held at Germany. right? Did I get it wrong? This time it's at South Africa. Cool.

World Cup fever!

World Cup fever!

Woots! :D

Bodyguards & Assassins.

I have been having a little too much of movies like assassination. First was Ninja Assassin which has too much blood sputtering everywhere. Now this Bodyguard & Assassins shows people fighting to protect a person they don't even know. It's all history. Based on China's history a long time ago. (Gosh I do not like history) Well, it all about revolutionary I guess. Where one day, democracy will be instilled into China and free millions of people from the Qing Dynasty.

The beginning of the movie was like draggy. All the events that happened was 5 days before the important person even reached Hong Kong. Day by day they show how this person, Chen Shao Bai came to tell the revolutionaries of the arrival of Sun Wen, the important person, how the planning was done to eliminate the revolutionaries and stopping them from protecting Sun Wen when he arrives as well as the planning on how the revolutionaries come together to protect this one person they don't even know.

It was sad to see so many people sacrifice to protect this Sun Wen in order for revolution to take place. For more information, do visit Wikipedia. There's so much more but of course, if you have not watched the movie, don't even think of clicking the Wikipedia word.

Sacrificing for the greater good.

Maybe I do not know how to watch this kind of movie.
Or maybe I just don't understand. :S
I want to watch Sherlock Holmes though.
Anybody? Please? :D
