The taste of freedom is so close, yet so far.

Finally I can blog without worrying about un-finish assignments or drawings. :D I breathe the air of relieve and freedom now. free from all assignments until the beginning of next semester. I know I have not been blogging about my studies or life for who knows how long.

When was my last post on Architecture?

Lazy to check back. It's a very very LONG time ago.

We had this little project which I called it the 'Hanging plants on trees Day' =P The name of the day says it all. One of our lecturer, Ar. Liaw brought some plants from his home to school this very day together with wires and all we had to was connect the wires through the plants to hold them and hang them up on tree trunks.

In the beginning, these girls were barking up the wrong tree? Or right?

Who knows what they are examining about that tree.

And we are on our own from there. It's quite fun, consider the fact that we are always stuck in the studio, face in the drawings we had to do. There are pictures below for you to have a look and more at my Facebook. :)

Not me I know.

Students that passed by were practically looking or staring at us, wondering what the hell in this world are these student doing? Hanging plants up in trees. What a sight!

Next, we proceed on to our 3rd and final project for our Architectural Studio Design class. Researching, designing and creating a similar habitat for our given client - animals or insects. We practically scratch and cracked our heads trying to come up with something similar and better than what those animals or insects currently have right now. It's not easy yet it ain't that tough.

Next we have the Architectural Drawing I subject assignment to complete. We were all separated into groups of 2 and all buildings are based on Tadao Ando's building. Tough!

It's totally yummy! :) I always have it when I go by GSC to catch a movie! :) It's a MUST HAVE for me!

Oh by the way, Ironman 2 is OUT! Now I can go and get the mashed potato I'm craving for. ;)

Toys are and always will be a part of a kid's life.

Yes! Both Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D! Imagine last time you used to watch them on television, no 3D effects but it's still nice. Now catch those toys in 3D! :D I love how the 3D effects has this magical effect on me. ;P

Because Toy Story 3 is coming out in 3D, they offer this chance to watch both 1 and 2 in 3D as well! It's really worth watching when the price of both this 3D movie is equivalent to buying one ticket for one 3D movie!

So far, I have really been watching movie after movie this few days. It's the feeling of freedom. The feeling of having fun! But of course, my pockets have a HUGE big hole. Ouch.

So yes, I have watched Kick-Ass this movie a few days ago and I don't really find it as funny as Date Night. Why? Because I did not laugh my ass off watching this movie? Nah. Maybe this movie just ain't my type.

Went for a movie, first time, with my architecture mates at Cineleisure. At first most of them wanted to watch the Clash of The Titans but about half of us (there were 9 of us that time) have already watched that movie. So we end up watching Date Night because the trailer of the movie was showing at that time and we all find it funny.

With Steave Carrell in the movie, how can it not be funny?

Synopsis

Phil and Claire Foster are a couple who have been married for several years. Their days consists of them taking care of their children and going to work and coming home and going to bed. But they find time to have a date night wherein they go out and spend some time together. When another couple they know announce that they're separating because they're in a rut, Phil feels that he and Claire could be too. So when date night comes Phil decides to do something different. So they go into the city and try to get into a new popular restaurant. But when it's full and still wanting to do this, Phil decides to take the reservation of a couple who doesn't show up. While they're having dinner two men approach them and instructs them to stand up and go with them. They think the men are with the restaurant and want to talk to them about taking someone else's reservation. But it appears the couple whose reservation they took crossed someone and the two men work for this person. The men are after something, but whatever it is they don't have it.

Overall, it's really a funny and good movie, but I don't know why the movie does not gives me the wow factor. I don't even really remember some parts of the movie. How come? Maybe it's because the starting of the movie was a little boring, with all those talking.

Stay or run?

I finally got the chance to watch How to Train Your Dragon movie! In 3D too! It's totally awesome that I want to watch it, not once, not twice, but as many times as I like! 3D effects are getting way better and cooler now. Love it! :D

Synopsis

Long ago up North on the Island of Berk, the young Viking, Hiccup, wants to join his town's fight against the dragons that continually raid their town. However, his macho father and village leader, Stoik the Vast, will not allow his small, clumsy, but inventive son to do so. Regardless, Hiccup ventures out into battle and downs a mysterious Night Fury dragon with his invention, but can't bring himself to kill it. Instead, Hiccup and the dragon, whom he dubs Toothless, begin a friendship that would open up both their worlds as the observant boy learns that his people have misjudged the species. But even as the two each take flight in their own way, they find that they must fight the destructive ignorance plaguing their world.

I totally, totally adore Night Fury, whom the little viking Hiccup dubs Toothless! Yes yes! That Night Fury dragon! He's so adorable! I want a dragon like him! ^^

This was the part where his teeth wasn't out yet when he came near to get the fish and at the last minute, rawr, snaps the fish away from Hiccup's hands.

OMG. OMG. OMG.

Ain't he cute? I want him! :P

It's the clash of the titans!

It's here! The time has come for the Titans to clash! :D It's a movie to watch, I would say, but not in 3D. 3D movies are for the animation kind. Some people may think that Clash of the Titans is not so nice but to me, it's good. It's so similar to the story of Hercules where Hercules was brought down to earth and lived as a mortal. Perseus, the main character of the movie, acted by the famous Sam Worthington (you might remember him from Avatar), is almost the same except he is a demi-god, half human, half god.

Here you see the Gin, Perseus as well as the witches, which is the same witches that the story of Hercules has. See this movie really reminds me of the story of Hercules as well as a little on the Greek gods.

A short synopsis

"The Clash of the Titans" is set in the Greek city of Argos where a war is about to explode between man and the gods. Perseus (Sam Worthington) raised as a fisherman, but is actually a demi-god. Perseus is the son of Zeus (Liam Neeson) who is about to take on the gods after the death of his family. Zeus' brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes) was the one who kill his family, and Perseus wants to kill him. However, it is Perseus's destiny to rescue the city of Argos from the ruthless rage of Hades and his Kraken monster. With nothing to lose, Perseus leads a band of soldiers on a quest to defeat the Kraken. In doing this, Perseus will prevent Hades from overthrowing Zeus and in turn destroying mankind.

Kraken this name, and this monster, reminds me of the Kraken in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. That big sea monster which is the pet of the terrifying Flying Dutchman - Davy Jones. Except this Kraken here is the pet of Hades.

The name is the same, just that the picture of the Kraken in both movies are different. The Kraken in the movie Clash of the Titans looks horrifying. RAWR.

You get Ralph Fiennes acting as the bad guy in this movie! Hades, the king of the Underworld. Well, he potrays a very good image of the bad guys. You can find him in all the Harry Potter movies as Lord Voldemort.

Medusa, one look and you will turn into stone. Again, this character reminds me of one of the heroes in the game Dota. Forgive me that I just have to mention it.

The whole story is quite similar to the story of Hercules, and I don't remember having a black Pegasus. But who cares, this is the Clash of the Titans! And Oh my GOD. The scorpions are Humongous! HUGE. The problem with this movie is that you might wonder how can Io, the main actress can follow the few soldiers in search for the Kraken, as well as who are the rest of the Gods that appeared with Zeus. I'm curious to know. :)
