It's the new year once again.

I won't be around nor I think I will have the time to blog, not until Tuesday. So here's to everyone out there.

Happy New Year 2011!!!

May this new year bring more laughter, joy, and awesome fun! :D Say H-E-L-L-O~ to Year 2011!

Christmas Places.

Ok. Let's check.

1) 1 Utama
- Done. Just that I have not posted up any pictures because pictures are not with me!)

2) The Curve/Ikano/e@Curve
- Erm. I did not capture pictures at Ikano actually but it's still considered as job done! =P

3) KLCC
- Done. Pretty simple.

4) MidValley
- The best this year. I think. :)

5) Pavillion KL
- Grand as usual. But did not really gave me the WOW factor.

6) Berjaya Times Square
- Been there.

7) Tropicana City Mall
- Done!

Oh-My-GOD. Done! All checked off! Well of course, I added a few more places to my list like Giza Mall, and I can't believe I left out The Gardens when I remembered MidValley. I won't be around for the weekends but I hope I have lots of photos to put up here after that! :)

New Year people!

Peace!

Before 2010 ends.

Things to do before 2011 comes.

1) Cross off Christmas places list by 30th December 2010.

2) Find 2010's New Year Resolution list. It must be somewhere in my room...

3) To make a new list of new year resolution? Which I doubt I'll lose it by the time my classes starts.

4) Not to head for count downs on New Year's Eve. Want something different.

5) Last but not least, of course, to be by his side, welcoming the arrival of Year 2011. :)

Geez. What a lame list. Let's checked off my Christmas places list tomorrow. :)

On Christmas Day. [Part II]

For you information, I just woke up. Might be a little blur and still no mood to really blog so maybe I shall let the pictures do the talking instead.

Pavilion KL

Before crossing the road.
See the crowd? =S
Horrifying.

After that this greeted us.
But of course with a few people in front snapping away.
(*yawns* I feel like crawling back to bed.)

What a sight as I stepped in.

Nice much? :)

Taken in the evening when I was about to leave.

So I guess that's it. For more pictures, of course, if you are a friend of mine on Facebook, feel free to check it out! :) So now I think I'll just go to the toilet and down to the kitchen in search of FOOD. Hungry~ Heheh ^^

KLCC.

A very short post here before I present to you Pavilion KL's decorations, if you have not seen them yet. I can barely keep my eyes open right now or neither can my brain keep turning about what words should I type.

This year's decorations at KLCC were rather simple and PURPLE.

KLCC

This was outside of the KL Convention Centre.
Took this while walking from Pavillon.

On Christmas Day. [Part I]

Justify FullIt took me days to edit the photos. Plus, I was not at home too. But I finally have some pictures done. Let me start from... Christmas Eve. I went out late at night to a friend's place and had a few drinks. Specially made by soon-to-be Bartender! Gosh. A little of that, a little of this, well I end up having rash the next day but nah.. I'll be fine. =P (Sorry I do not have photos of those drinks I had.)

So on Christmas Day, was supposed to join a group of friends for Bak Kut Teh at Klang but end up being late so ended up having lunch at ss2. Before I go any further, I spotted this while stuck in a jam at Sunway Pyramid.

Reindeer antlers!

Christmas spirit! :D And geez. Massive jam at Sunway Pyramid! I have not even mentioned the CROWD at KL yet! Horrifying! So much for celebrating Christmas at home. The amount of people flooding the monorail stations is really, quite a sight. I have not seen such a crowd even on the busiest days!

So alright. Headed down to KL. Destination : Pavillion KL. The crowd at Pavilion was really, REALLY, as said in Chinese : People mountain, people sea. Stopped by the new store called Fahrenheit 88, and to check out UniQlo especially. :)

Well it's SALES season, and being the first store in Malaysia, it's sure packed with people! Though I must say, the quality of the clothes there are awesome! It's worth the price! And of course, I have Fahrenheit 88 Christmas decos to show. :)

Fahrenheit 88

Pretty simple decorations for this Christmas. Next up, Pavilion KL! Gosh. Super packed place to be on a public holiday. Though the decorations are of course, very grand. :)

ps : don't really have the mood to blog at the moment.

Have yourself ... A merry little Christmas ...

Heh.
I edited that picture so that it would specially be from me. :D

See I'm dreaming of a White Christmas this year, literally. Where I see the tree tops glisten and the children are all listening, just to hear the sleigh bells ring, and to know that Santa is here.

I even painted my nails to suit this season.
More like glistening snow. :D

So may all your days be very merry and bright, and may all your Christmases be WHITE. :D

Have a MERRY little CHRISTMAS everyone! :)

PS : I out enjoying my Christmas and not sitting in front of my computer typing this. ;P

Letter to Santa.

Dear Santa,

I have been a very good boy this year...can you plsssssss give me a new phone this x'mas??

Thank you!!

From Hon Sern.

Well, that was a copy and paste from my friend's status in Facebook to my blog here. Heh. I haven't been writing letters since I grew up to find out that Santa isn't real.

He does not live at the North Pole, with little elves as helpers or have a special reindeer named Rudolph.

Maybe Rudolph had his nose painted red that's why we all call him Rudolph the Red-Nose reindeer.

HAHAH.

Even better, I don't believe that he climbs down chimneys and eat cookies and milk that little children leaves out for him. Well of course, these are stories I have heard when I was little. But I guessed I just never believed in Santa.

But I do love Christmas songs when Christmas is just around the corner, everywhere you go, there's always Christmas songs blasting through the speakers at malls or the radio. I remember singing to Jingle Bells, or We Wish You A Merry Christmas every single year when Christmas comes around. Then slowly I knew more songs like Last Christmas, or that classic one, 12 Days of Christmas. Who know since when, I started liking Christmas.

I used to get presents every year when I was little but I knew they were from my parents and not from Santa. Though I do have a stocking of my own to hang up during Christmas eve, but I never had a Christmas tree nor a fireplace to start with.

Where most people hang their stockings at the fireplace, I hang mine at the end of my bed. Well, just that, I don't have a bedpost to hang it so I hang it up at my door knob. Though it was never filled as every year I hang it up.

I don't remember staying up and waiting for Santa to arrive. I don't remember ever having to believe that Santa Claus is real. But I remember having fun as a kid, waiting to receive gifts every Christmas. Oh that joy of having presents and opening them! :)

As I grew up, I stopped wishing on wishing stars, I stopped waiting for gifts to be put in my hands, and I just stopped believing in the magic of Christmas. Well I found out my family does not celebrate Christmas. But this year, I'm determined to make it different. Not only having someone I love to spend Christmas with, or getting them gifts, I am making this year's Christmas different for me.

Christmas is not just about celebrating the birth of Jesus, nor is it just about gift-giving or decorations. It's also the season to forgive. But to me, it's more than that because I want to believe in the magic of Christmas again. (I may sound like a child but who cares? :D) This year I made it possible for me to visit shopping malls to capture the wonderful decorations put up, even if some are a little disappointing.

I might be totally broke and you won't receive any gifts from me, but that does not matter. As long as I enjoy this season, even without any gifts, I would be content. :) So now, I would like to re-live my childhood dreams, even if I know that this would not reach North Pole in any way.

Dear Santa,

I have been a very very good girl this year. (I think) Can have this few items for Christmas this year? I hope this reaches you soon because of the crazy weather changes right now, I hope North Pole ain't snowing that badly. Here are a few items that I want this year for Christmas:

1) New bed and shelves, and cupboards.
So that I can have a room makeover. I need more space in my room as I feel my current furniture eats up too much space. Plus I need to re-arrange the positions of my bed.

2) I need new wall paints.
So that I can paint my room into the colours I desire. I will even create patterns to my liking so that the room gives out a sense of belonging to me.

3) I would like to have my heart turn into ice or stone.
Ice so that I can be as cold as ice towards anyone and don't have to have to feel others. Whereas stone might be better maybe, so hard that I don't have to even be compassionate any more.

4) Have a new phone.
Well of course a phone to my desire. ^^

5) Maybe some money to get me new clothes, and new stuff for the new year?

6) Or maybe that DSLR camera that I have my eyes on?

7) I wish for a house of my own. Or maybe a land of my own. :)

8) Get me some books to read. Namely from authors like: Lee Child latest book, or Cecelia Ahern.
So that I don't have to be bored to death on 1st of January.

9) To have patience and perseverance. To be stronger than I am now so that I can face my fears and troubles. To have faith in myself and to gain back my self-confidence.

10) Or if all those mentioned above can't be fulfilled, then I would gladly wish to have the chance to volunteer myself for one whole day at SPCA.

I hope it's not too much to ask for. I haven't really written to Santa since young. I really really do hope this letter of mine reaches you at North Pole, and I blessed that Santa and your reindeer have an awesome flight this Christmas eve.

Merry Christmas Santa! :)

Love,
Sze Yun.

It's so frustrating.

I do not have the patience to play with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Maybe not now.

WHY?

Because I damn don't know how to use it! Geez. I'm trying to work on some school work but it ain't helping. First, I don't know how the hell to find my symbols in Illustrator. Second, I am super NOOB in Photoshop. Third, I don't have the patience to crop out a picture and discard the stupid white background. And now, I'm on the verge of crying. :'(

I need a place to vent my frustration so I turn to blogger instead. I think I need to get myself a book for dummies on how to work Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. Just that I think I do not have the patience to even read it! Gah. I need someone to teach me but I guess not this time as my patience has really reached its limit. It's driving me nuts! &

%$#@!

*fu-fu-fu-fu-fu*

On a rainy day...

Actually, it should be on a stormy day though. It was really raining heavily this afternoon. With thunder and lightning trying to get at me. I can be quite jumpy at times when a LOUD roar from the sky above.

Saw it was cloudy and the sky was turning dark so I presumed that it was going to rain but what I did not know was that it was going to be a thunder storm. =S So I had to turn off the computer as well as the modem before anything gets struck, and resort to doing something else. So I opened my little black book, and took a look at my to-do list.

* Sweep room floor
* Iron clothes
* Wash clothes
* Paint room
* Fix model base
* Sweep house
* Sort out Architecture stuff
* Clean & clear desk
* and so much more...

And so, I picked one I would love to do while the rest are just chores to me. :)

Well the base need fixing.
It has been in a box too long.

Plus the base wasn't so nice looking.

The new base. Looks better eh? :D
Well you don't want to have a closer look.
My workmanship needs improving.
Heh.

With the model. :)
Awesomely done by my friend.

Bad workmanship. :/

:)

Of all the days, I am blogging the most today.

My breakfast is nice.

I made myself more bread+cheese+sausages. ^^

Yummy. Filled my stomach well. :)

I want to fill my life with colours.

Well actually, I just want to fill my ROOM with colours right now.

Buckets of paint, anyone?

Magical forest are beautiful.

As I transit from MidValley to The Gardens, I can see the change in atmosphere. Not only there were lesser crowd and the place is more elegant and sophisticated, not to mention a change in the Christmas decorations. :)

The Gardens this year was a little let down compared to what I have seen at TCM but still, it was beautiful. Yes. Beautiful is the word because the decorations at The Gardens reminds me of being in a fairy tale and wandering into an enchanted forest. Though, most decorations were focused on both sides instead of the middle.

Though its very simple yet its elegant. Love the icicles. Though it's fake. :P It's like stepping into a whole new realm that we human beings have never seen. And part of it look like some elegant garden. Enjoy. :)
