Day 2 [26th May 2010]
Had a crazy night playing games and drinking the night before. Some people even pretend to lose just so that he get to drink. You know who you are. Went for breafast at there in the morning. I myself had two meals. Food there was alright. Too bad we were too early or not we get to eat the famous laksa at that place. After that, we headed up to Kek Lok SiKek Lok Si temple. Gosh. Tiring. Had a pit stop in the middle where we bought vegetables to feed the turtles there. Super LOADS of turtles there. Some climbed over the other just to get the veg we threw for them.
What a sight! We even caught two turtles 'doing it'. xD There was even one HUGE turtle sun bathing which some of us thought it was a statue until it moved its head! We proceed up to the temple after that. The weather was so hot! Kek Lok Si Temple was very nice. Not to mention the HUGE statue of Guan Yin, still in the building process. It's magnificent! We spent most our time there taking pictures and cooling down. But in no avail. The weather at Penang was just to hot. Even Penang chicken rice ain't any help. By the way, Penang chicken rice is ok only.
After having lunch and buying some tambun biscuits from Penang, we headed down to Perak! Stayed at Alan's relative's place, which was a very nice big house! :) After resting, we headed to Chemor river to play. Brrrr~! The water is super duper freaking freezing cold! Really! Geez. Can't even stop shaking even I have been in the water for a long time. But the rush of the water is awesome. :)
Dinner nearby at a restaurant. The food there at that particular restaurant is not bad. :) After dinner, we headed to the night market nearby as well. Unfortunately the night market is coming to an end. Stalls are closing one by one. We just took a walk and then when back to the house. Back there, I went to sleep straight as I was too tired while the rest of my friends actually still had the energy to play crazy games! Haha. Got to love them. :)
Part III up soon. Sorry it take me so long just to get all this posted up.
