Quota ♥

There are things we don't want it to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn and people we can't live without but have to let go.

SYDNEY #2 | Zootopia lookalike and late night walks

For the next few days we were all waking up at 7am sharp and heading out at 8am. Such punctuality. There's nothing like waking up on time and head out to explore further. Sadly it's like the only during holidays that it really works, this waking up on time. I never seem to be able to get out of bed on time on normal days.

So here's how it went.

DAY 2

Sydney city.
We headed out for breakfast at Pancakes on the Rocks. The pancakes there were like the bomb! So fluffy that we should have shared a meal instead of having one each. It's really filling! So good! You can find pictures on my instagram @YunzFood for my Sydney Trip.

So after breakfast/brunch, we came upon a little market at the area and explored it. Craft markets are like a thing in Australia, is it? And there's always something about these kind of markets that I like. Something that Malaysia doesn't have. After enjoying and soaking in the atmosphere, we headed to where we were supposed to go - The Zoo! Yes. Taronga Zoo awaits us.

Walking to breakfast.

Fluffy pancakes here we come!

After breakfast.

Taronga Zoo was just like any other zoo, except that the architect in me realized that it was well planned in a sense that it's a one direction kind of thing. You enter from Point A but exit at Point B. you will never exit at Point A. (unless there's an emergency, which I doubt so.) Though there were some animals that we can't spot, or the lack of a few animals, as well as some construction going on, not to mentioned it rained when we were done touring, it was still a very pleasant visit.

After the zoo we headed back into the city and went straight for food. Korean BBQ for the night! Seoul-Ria was fully packed when we left. It was a pretty popular place and lucky us we got there early enough to get a place. Food was not too bad, and I really love the Soju they served us in! I would go back to that place to dine again! (: After the dinner, there's always room for desserts. We headed to N2 Gelato nearby, also because I wanted to go. I had my share of N2 Gelato back in Melbourne last June and I wonder would it be the same. This N2 Gelato in Sydney was relatively bigger compared to the one in Melbourne, and people were queuing up for the Gelato after we arrived!

After that it was just strolling around the city and deciding where can we go to visit when the sun was down. We headed to Hyde Park, and then to the State Library. Hyde Park in search for the tunnel entrance but all we found was just the entrance to the train station. There was supposed to be the old tunnels that are opened for public viewing but I guessed it was closed down already. We proceeded to the State Library, which obviously wasn't open but we took a picture with the sign just right outside it.

We are all with chinese eyes under the bright sun.

Spot that Pelican!

Dinner at Seoul-Ria Korean Restaurant.

With our N2 Gelato.

At Hyde Park.

It was definitely an exhausting day for all of us. We crashed the moment we got back to our beds. Managed to enjoy Sydney so far, and despite it being unorganized in comparison with Melbourne, it was still good to be back to a city that does not even feel like a western country.
