There are things we don't want it to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn and people we can't live without but have to let go.

Princess and The Frog.

Ribbit. Ribbit.

I know friends who has phobias against frogs. They are such cute, slimey creatures, besides those poisonous ones you can find in the jungle. Watched this movie today, this afternoon with 2 friends, namely Mun Hon & Mun Wei. Before I go on, no, they are not brothers. :)

Walt Disney movies are always my favourite because I grew up with them. Everyone does. from the classic Cinderella story to Snow White, Sleeping Beauty as well as Beauty and The Beast, we all are definitely very familiar with all these fairy tales. Now here comes another one we all have been waiting for so long.

A modern day retelling of the classic story The Frog Prince. The Princess and the Frog finds the lives of arrogant, carefree Prince Naveen and hardworking waitress Tiana crossing paths. Prince Naveen is transformed into a frog by a conniving voodoo magician and Tiana, following suit, upon kissing the amphibian royalty. With the help of a trumpet-playing alligator, a Cajun firefly, and an old blind lady who lives in a boat in a tree, Naveen and Tiana must race to break the spell and fulfill their dreams. I like that Disney's stories are always such a fun to watch. This is actually the first African-American Princess in Disney! Of course there's always a happy ever after ending for every Walt Disney Princess story, where they meet their prince charming. Yet this one took a twist from the classical Princess and The Frog where the girl is not a princess. I like the alligator in the movie. He is so funny. :D Despite me being tired and sleepy, I still enjoyed the movie.

Rating : 8/10

I wish upon a star, please, please, please, please...!
